I loved the movie, no qualms about it. I thought it captured the spirit of Moore's book wonderfully, and I think that most of the reviewers who have been cold to it--A. O. Scott and Anthony Lane in particular--just didn't understand the story, because the things they complained about were the whole point of the story. Sure, the story could have been told much better if, instead of a nearly three hour film, it had been a 12 hour miniseries, but the fact that Snyder managed to get so much of the book, including a lot of the intricacies surrounding just how horrible these heroes actually are, into the film was far more than I'd ever hoped for.
