		<description><![CDATA[I finally (!) started &#039;A Mercy&#039; yesterday, and it has been a typically Morrisonian experience in the sense that I spent the first three or four pages panicking (Who&#039;s talking? Where are we? Is this person alive or dead? What&#039;s going on? When are we?) until my brain settled in. 

Reading her books is like gulping wine too fast; it&#039;s only once you start to feel all warm inside that you realize what you&#039;ve done. 

I&#039;m glad to know that you found it worthwhile. So far, I&#039;m already enjoying it more than &#039;Love.&#039; Together with the thumbs-up from one of my girlfriends, your positive vote makes me even more enthusiastic about finishing it this weekend.]]></description>
